Dear Friends,
If you visited during the past week you know that inventory created a major disaster in the shop. Pulling every single bolt and counting the folds - two folds is a yard - took just about forever! To make matters worse we couldn't check in new things until we finished the count. After two days we couldn't even see over the pile of boxes! I think you were all most gracious - I know you were just pretending not to notice the mountain!
We hope to be neat as a pin by Saturday and bursting with new things - a perfect time to visit!

Fat Quarter Fiesta!
 We have reduced an entire mountain of bolts to fat quarters just in time for this week's fiesta. The 2010 Fat Quarter Fiesta will take place Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Every pre-cut fat quarter in the shop will be just $1.11. Whether you plan an entire project made with fats or round out your palette - this is an astonishing deal!

Saturday Sampler News
I hate to break the news, but all of our 2010 Saturday Sampler groups are more than filled! There will be lots of other fun block-by-block projects beginning over the next few months - watch for details here and in the shop. Along that same vein - our Trax Quilting and Needlework Seminar day is also filling very quickly. It would be best to contact us soon if you would like to attend!

Quilt Women Party
 You probably think you have a pretty impressive pattern collection, but wait until you see the group Delores brings with her for the Quilt Women Party on Saturday January 23rd at noon. She totes a huge notebook stuffed with pattern after pattern. Quilt Women publishes a wide range of designs in varying degrees of difficulty. Inspiration can be found with every turn of the page. Study the pages, place your special order and we'll make sure that the patterns are in the shop within a week for you. Please let us know if you plan to attend (keep in mind that dreadful weather could impact this event - Delores travels a good distance to be with us!).

New Fabrics!
I never seem to plan enough time for Valentine projects. Once again I'm trying to wedge in some extra stitching moments because the new fabric, (shown above), and pattern selection is so tempting. You will find lots of hearts, flowers and geometric prints in cream, red, pink and even a bit of bright green. I should have at least one piece to share by the end of next week - I need to sew a whole lot faster!
