Bubble Bath Quilt by Sue Cook

We are terribly excited to congratulate Sue Cook on her newest published pattern. Her adorable Bubble Bath quilt is featured in the June/July issue of Quilt Magazine (scheduled to hit the news stand April 13th). The quilt's delightful ducks and bubbles are paper pieced from colorful bright prints. The 34" x 41 ½" quilt will be perfect for your favorite little one. Kits for the top and binding, in the fabrics Sue used, are available so you can begin stitching as soon as your magazine arrives.

Winter is Mary Beth's least favorite time of the year. Everything seems so gray. So she thinks an unusual project may be just the thing to dispel the gloom! She has designed a Snow Day Surprise kit. The kit contains fabrics for the top and binding of a secret pieced throw size quilt. The directions for your Snow Day project will be emailed on the first day of the new year with a snowfall over 4”! What better way could there be to spend a day buried at home?! If we don’t make that mark by February (she will be dancing in the street) the directions will be emailed on February 12th.

Mary Beth has designed a stunning applique quilt as our project for the Fall 2009 Better Homes and Garden, "Quilt Sampler" magazine. We are so excited to be one of the featured quilt shops in this issue. Mary Beth chose a new grouping from Sandy Gervais called Essence. The fall colors and small country/whimsical prints were the perfect choice for her original applique design.
